Delta M+ Light gives brain health care in daily life

Delta is releasing M+ (Mind Plus) Light for the first time at the "Healthcare Promotion Seminar for Ageing Care" organized by the Chinese Association for Smart Care. Delta has combined its patented multi-frequency technology into a reading light designed to provide comfortable lighting that easily integrates brain health care into daily living, and promotes healthier aging.

Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia and no effective treatment has yet been found. An MIT research team has proven that "40Hz" acoustic and photic stimulation can effectively improve the cognitive ability of experimental rats with Alzheimer's by reducing amyloid plaques and Tau proteins. A research team at Kaohsiung Medical University also conducted further research on neuronal cells using 40Hz photic stimulation, and confirmed that it can inhibit the phosphorylation of Tau protein, which is one of the causes of Alzheimer's disease, and explored its mechanism. The related research results have been published in the Journal of Alzheimer's disease, an authoritative international journal.

Although 40Hz photic stimulation can achieve effects across multiple brain areas to improve cognitive function, the flicker of the light will cause pressure on the eyes. In view of this, Delta has developed the M+ Light, which uses patented multi-frequency technology to combine 40Hz light into regular light, allowing users to receive 40Hz light stimulation daily while using artificial light without any bothersome flicker. The 40Hz light thus effectively inhibit the amyloid in the nervous system. Delta's M+ Light has proven its effectiveness through tests at the cellular level and it is suitable for daily use as preventive healthcare for the brain.

As scientific research on lighting continues, the knowledge about the relationship between light and health is increasing significantly. Delta continues to develop health lighting products. Last year, Delta launched the U+ UVC inhibitor, which is a light disinfectant safe for human use. This year, Delta has developed the patented Mind Plus Light technology and plans to launch additional eye-care lighting products in the future. Delta’s hope is to enhance modern health and people’s quality of life through technology.
